Updated 3 November 2026 · DoTenerife
For a Spanish night out, go to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna at the weekend. These are where locals eat, drink and dance, from tapas and terraces in the capital to student bars and live music in La Laguna’s World Heritage old town. Nights start late and finish later.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife

- Carnival: in February the whole city becomes a street party. See Santa Cruz carnival.
