Uluwatu Nikkei Kitchen & Bar is a stylish restaurant and cocktail bar in central Playa de las Américas, on Calle Managua between the Sol Tenerife and H10 Playa Palmeras hotels and facing the ocean. Its sister restaurant, Limonella, is directly below.

The kitchen specialises in Nikkei cuisine, the Japanese-Peruvian fusion that pairs sushi techniques with Latin American flavours. Dishes are designed for sharing, with ceviche, tiraditos, sushi, crispy rice with spicy tuna and teriyaki salmon among the favourites, plus vegetarian and vegan choices. The jungle-inspired décor gives the dining room a relaxed, tropical feel.

It is open in the evenings only. A DJ plays on the terrace most nights, and the cocktail list leans towards Pisco Sours and sake-based drinks, so it works just as well for pre-dinner drinks as for a full meal before heading out in Las Américas.
